Thank you very much for visiting my blog. On this blog you will find information about software development for Windows Phone and Windows Embedded related products.
My name is Maarten Struys. I live in The Netherlands where I work for Alten PTS as Windows Embedded, Windows 8 and Windows Phone Evangelist. I love to speak about these Microsoft related technologies at large international conferences like Tech•Ed, MEDC and DevConnections. I also teach programming classes that cover application development for Windows Embedded Compact and Windows Phone as well as Operating System Design for Windows Embedded Compact. In the recent past, I created a large number of Windows Mobile How-Do-I videos for MSDN and I also created the Windows Mobile Ramp-Up learning track. My main focus these days is teaching how to create efficient, great performing and battery friendly applications for Windows Phone.
Since April 2010 I am a Microsoft MVP, specializing in Windows Phone Development. Prior to this, I was a Microsoft Embedded MVP and Device Application Development MVP for 8 years.
